sunday breakfast
The hot idli made by Mahesh this morning.
recipe follows in ascending order.
Served with dosa milaga podi and green chilli chutney.
The cooked idlis.
pour batter in இட்லி தட்டு and steam it for 8-10 minutes.
add toasted semia(vermicelli) chopped ginger, chopped coriander(cilantro), chillies, finely chopped vegetables of your choice to the curd. allow to soak for 10-15 minutes.
1 cup curd.

Saturday breakfast - cornbread (சோள அப்பம்)
Corn grits சோள ரவை - 3/4 cup
Corn meal சோள ரவை (பொடி)- 1/4 cup
fava bean flour கடலை மாவு பொடி மாதிரி- 1/2 cup
cottage cheese கொத்தின பனீர்- 1/2 cup
cheddar cheese 1/2 cup
minced red chillies - 1/2 cup
oil - 2/3 cup
baking powder (இதுக்கு பஹரம் ஈனோவும் போடலாம்)1/2 teaspoon
vinegar (எலுமெச்சம்பழ சாற் விட்டாலு சாரம் இல்லை)1/4 teaspoon.
mix and bake at 450 for 10 mins. சின்ன ஓவன்ல தான் பேக் பண்ணினேன்.
